Role & Purpose
We aim to maximize our clients’ outcomes by providing solutions that “maximize the value of data” in life sciences.
Responsibilities
Depending on your aptitude and interests, you will be entrusted with tasks such as:
- Development of experimental parameter optimization engines using Bayesian optimization (including algorithm improvements)
- Development of biological image analysis software (e.g., microscopy images of cells)
- Technical research and solution design (including literature surveys)
- Implementation and execution of solutions including data analysis in real projects

- People who can anticipate potential events and risks, and understand the intentions behind others’ thoughts and actions
Compensation
- Starting at JPY 1,500/hour (with raises based on performance)
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule. Minimum 8 hours/week (negotiable)
- Side jobs and concurrent internships at other companies are welcome. We encourage skill development.
Qualifications
- Development experience with Python
- Foundational knowledge of computer science
- Foundational knowledge of statistics and machine learning
- Foundational knowledge of cell biology (preferred)
